General Info

Cafe 931 sits at 2551 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37043, United States, and it’s the kind of café you notice right away when you’re looking for a relaxed spot to eat. The space feels modern but welcoming, with a trendy atmosphere that works just as well for a quick breakfast as it does for a slow brunch. Whether you’re stopping in alone for solo dining or meeting friends, the vibe is casual and easygoing, with a bar onsite that adds a lively touch without overpowering the laid-back café style.

One thing that stands out immediately when browsing the menu is how the dishes balance comfort and creativity. During my visit, the Acai Bowl was one of the first things that caught my eye. It’s fresh, vibrant, and perfect if you want something light but satisfying in the morning. The texture of the acai blends well with the toppings, making it a refreshing way to start the day, especially if you’re exploring breakfast options that feel both energizing and flavorful.

For something heartier, the Breakfast Egg Burritos with Papas Fritas easily become a highlight. The burritos are filling without feeling heavy, and the papas fritas add that crispy, comforting side that makes the meal feel complete. It’s the type of breakfast plate that works whether you’re fueling up for the day or settling in for a relaxed brunch with coffee.

Cafe 931 also brings bold flavors into its menu with dishes that lean toward street-food inspiration. The Quesabirra Taco Meal and Chicken Tacos deliver exactly what taco lovers hope for-savory fillings, satisfying textures, and a balanced mix of flavors in every bite. They’re great choices if you’re visiting later in the morning or leaning toward a brunch-style meal instead of a traditional breakfast.

However, the dish that really stands out is the Birria Ramen. It’s an unexpected fusion that combines rich, slow-cooked flavors with the comforting warmth of ramen. The broth carries deep flavor, and the combination feels both creative and familiar at the same time. It’s the kind of item that quickly becomes a talking point in reviews and among regular visitors.

Because of its versatile menu and welcoming layout, the location works well for different dining styles. Some guests drop in for a quick breakfast before work, while others settle into the café for a longer brunch. The trendy atmosphere, combined with a thoughtful menu, gives Cafe 931 a personality that feels both relaxed and memorable.

Overall, the experience at this Clarksville café comes down to a mix of flavorful dishes, an inviting space, and a menu that offers something different without losing the comfort people expect from a good neighborhood restaurant. The location on Madison Street makes it easy to find, and the steady stream of positive reviews reflects how consistently the café delivers a satisfying dining experience.

What customers say?

“ I tried this place for the first time and found myself back there for more 2 days later. I’ve tried several different dishes (mine and a taste of my family’s orders each time), and every bite has been nothing short of amazing. Best tacos in Clarksville in my opinion. Smoothie bowls have been fresh and delicious. The BACON CHORIZO BURRITO!!! Everything, seriously. AND- everyone there is so inviting and kind. I will be back soon. This is a place I can order something new each time with confidence. ”

“ Went here for the first time with my baby and my 7 year old. It has quite a bit of seating which you wouldn’t realize when you first walked in. Very comfortable atmosphere and a clean restaurant and bathrooms. Staff was friendly , especially Donovan , and the owner came over and checked on us as well and she’s very nice. Food was good, and I expected the “Thomas “ juice to be spicy because of the ginger ( which I need more of in my life) but it was surprisingly good and appetizing ! Will definitely visit again! ”

“ This is one of our favorite places to eat in Clarksville. The team that runs this business are always friendly and we can tell that they really love what they do. They consistently create new items on the menu and everything is always delicious and fresh. The breakfast and lunch are both equally wonderful. No matter where you are driving from, their açaí bowls are worth the drive! We have very few local breakfast places in town so that makes this place extra special. -Update: 4/22/25 Spent the day working from Cafe 931 with the team—laptops out, good coffee, and a great atmosphere to get things done. We started with acai bowls for breakfast and wrapped up lunch with birria tacos and loaded fries. It quickly turned into our office for the day—just with much better food. The giant chess board may have pulled us away from our screens for a bit, but it was the perfect mix of focus and fun. If you're looking for a laid-back spot to work and grab a bite, definitely check it out—and let them know LOCAL sent you! ”

“ We love this place! The portions are huge, so come HUNGRY! Or, be prepared to use a to-go box. The service was excellent - no Gen Z stares here. The youths are very friendly and helpful even with an old man like me taking forever trying to read the menu. I appreciated it! We’ve tried the sausage burrito, breakfast plate, nachos, pancake burrito, and French toast, plus juices and coffee - all were fantastic. Highly recommend stopping here! ”

“ If you’re a Cali transplant, you need to come here for their breakfast burritos. They are the absolute best and massive. If you’re not a transplant and have been looking for a great breakfast burrito, this is still your spot. Patty and Claudia provided excellent customer service. The spot and people make you feel welcomed and at home. ”

“ I was in between the tacos and the burrito. I ultimately went with the burrito and it is hands down the best burrito I have had since moving to Clarksville! I ordered it with Al Pastor and it is packed full of meat, beans and rice. I ordered the red and green salsa; the red is extremely hot so I mixed it in with the green for a small kick of heat. It also tastes great without the salsa. The meat is marinated very well and the beans and rice were perfect! This could easily be split into two meals or you can cut it in half and share with another person and order chips and salsa. I will definitely be back! ”

“ Went on Cinco de Mayo. Had Birra Taco’s. The portion was good size and they were delicious. The horchata was really good. The music was a little loud they had a dj for Cinco de Mayo. ”
